Game Description

Speed Blackjack is one of the latest live casino releases from Evolution Gaming that has captivated blackjack players worldwide. The game is based on the rules of standard live blackjack, but there’s a twist.

This is a quick 7-seat game where the dealing order does not go from left to right but changes to suit the player who makes the fastest decisions. After the initial two cards are dealt, the player who makes the quickest decision to hit/double down/split will get the next card, which speeds the game up to 30%.

On top of being faster and loaded with additional betting features like Bet Behind and side bets, Speed Blackjack is playable across multiple devices and platforms.

Environment

The action takes place in a flashy and sleek studio with a golden background where red and yellow dominate. The standard blackjack table is in the middle of the screen and the dealer is positioned behind it.

The design is not as elaborate as in other titles by Evolution Gaming, but it does not lack the casino atmosphere we can feel in land-based facilities.

Gameplay/Tutorial

Speed Blackjack is played with eight decks in the dealer’s shoe at the standard 7-seat table. The players are dealt two initial cards and instead of going from left to right, according to the seating position, now the players who make the decision to hit/double down/split get the third card first.

Having received the third card, the players can make their next move. Despite the fact that the dealer does not wait for the player, the players still have the time to make their decisions.

If they fail to do so in the appointed time frame, auto moves are initiated. Auto Stand is activated on hands valued at 12 or more, while Auto Hit is triggered on hands of 11 or less.

Apart from standard blackjack bets, Speed Blackjack includes side bets from other types of blackjack, like the perfect pairs and 21+3 bets. Perfect pair bets give you a chance to win if the first two cards you are dealt make up a mixed, coloured, or perfect pair. The 21+3 bets let you wager on poker-style card combinations made up of your first two cards and the one open card (upcard) from the dealer’s hand.

You can even use the Bet Behind option and bet on the outcome of another player’s hand when you are waiting for the open seat. If you’re already seated, this option, along with all other betting options, will also be available.

Video Description

The live feed is streamed in HD quality with a single camera angle that has a very good close-up of the action at the table. Players who have issues with bandwidth can opt for the classic view that decreases the quality of the video stream but helps you stay in the action.

There are neither standard nor slow-motion replays since the game is so fast.

Native-Speaking Dealers

The native language of Speed Blackjack is English, but since Evolution Gaming offers various languages, there is a possibility of adding other languages as well.

Mobile/Desktop Interface

You can access Speed Blackjack 24/7 on all types of desktop computers and mobile devices. Thanks to HTML5 technology, players can enjoy excellent scalability and play Speed Blackjack in both landscape and portrait modes on their smartphones. Tablet devices only support landscape mode, as do PCs.
